Insect & Animal  Borne Diseases

Insect and animal borne diseases are either a bacterial, viral or parasitic infection, which is carried by either an insect or animal vector. Outbreaks of these diseases pose major humanitarian medical crises for all Latin American countries, their surrounding regions and the world. Ideal tropical and localised climates, highly populated areas and close habitation of humans to animal and insect vectors make Latin America, prime speading grounds these diseases.

Many of the outbreaks, infected persons and deaths are generally preventable though 1) Education of the populations 2) Governmental organisation 3) Providing medical services & early response measures 4) Prevention of vector to human contact
